How much does a colonic cost in Sydney?

Most Sydney clinics charge somewhere between $95 and $150 for a single colon hydrotherapy session. We've always published our prices, so here they are in full, along with what a fair price should actually include and the questions we'd want answered before handing money to any clinic, including ours. Across Sydney, a single colon hydrotherapy session typically runs from about $95 to $150. Anything far cheaper than that deserves a closer look, because certified therapists, single-use disposable equipment and unhurried appointments all cost money to provide properly.

At Full Circle Health a single session is $120, and your first visit is $145 all-inclusive. That covers your consultation, your colon hydrotherapy session, a free infrared sauna worth $45, and a probiotic. Booked separately, all of that would come to $165. Single sessions

A standard colon hydrotherapy session is $120. Your first visit is $145 and includes the consultation, your session, a free infrared sauna and a probiotic, which is why most new clients start there.

Colonic packages

3 sessions for $300, which works out at $100 each. 6 sessions for $570, or $95 each. 12 sessions for $1,050, or $87.50 each. Packages exist because many clients like an initial short series, not because you have to buy one.

Combinations & programs

Our Feel Good package pairs an infrared sauna with a colonic for $145, and Feel Great adds a 60 minute massage for $295. Guided detox cleanse programs run from a 1 Day Refresh at $460 to a 5 Day Reset at $2,150.

Before you pay anyone

Three questions to ask any clinic

A good clinic will answer all three happily. If the answers are vague, keep your money.

1. Who is your therapist certified with?

Ask for the certifying body by name. We've been certified colon hydrotherapists and instructors since 2003, hold I-ACT and NBCHT (USA) certifications, and we train and certify other therapists as Australia's only LIBBE-certified trainers.

2. Is your equipment single-use?

Every disposable item that touches you should be brand new, opened for your session, then thrown away. At our clinics that is exactly what happens, and the gravity-fed LIBBE system uses UV plus 5-micron filtered water with an automatic temperature shut-off.

3. Is a consultation included?

You should never be treated by someone who hasn't taken your health history. Our first visit price includes the consultation, so there's no extra fee for the conversation that keeps your session appropriate for you.

The rebate question

Medicare, health funds and out-of-pocket costs

We get asked this a lot, so here it is straight. Colon hydrotherapy is a wellness service, not a medical treatment, so it's generally not covered by Medicare, and most private health extras policies don't cover it either. It never hurts to check with your own fund, but the safest way to budget is to treat any quote you get, from us or anyone else, as fully out-of-pocket.

One thing that doesn't change with your postcode is our pricing. Whether you're coming from Cronulla, Miranda or Sylvania to our Caringbah clinic, or from Mona Vale, Avalon or Narrabeen to our Newport clinic, you pay the same at both.

Pricing questions we're often asked

Do you run deals or gift vouchers?

Yes. We have gift vouchers and current offers on our gift vouchers and offers page. Vouchers are a lovely way to give someone their first visit without them having to make the booking decision cold.

Do session packages expire?

Rather than quote a policy here that could go out of date, we'd ask you to check the current terms at your consultation or when you book. We'll always tell you exactly where you stand before you pay for a package.

Do colonic prices differ between Sydney suburbs?

A little, across the city as a whole. What we can tell you for certain is that our own prices are identical at both clinics, so you pay the same in Caringbah as you do in Newport.

Is colon hydrotherapy covered by Medicare or private health?

Generally no. Colon hydrotherapy is a wellness service, not a medical treatment, so it is not covered by Medicare and most private extras policies don't cover it either. It never hurts to ask your fund, but the safest approach is to budget for the full amount out of pocket.
