I-ACT School of Colon Hydrotherapy Australasia
Discover a new career, or add a profitable, in-demand service to your existing practice, by becoming an I-ACT certified colon hydrotherapist. A growing profession that supports health and wellbeing naturally and effectively, taught by Australia's only LIBBE-certified instructors.
The profession
Colon hydrotherapy is the infusion of warm, purified and temperature-regulated water into the large intestine. The waste is hydrated and softened, then released through natural peristalsis, repeated several times during a session.
There are two professional methods of administering colon hydrotherapy, the open and closed systems. The International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) represents both, and the method a therapist uses is their personal choice. Our school teaches the open device, the gravity-fed system that infuses temperature-regulated water through a pencil-thin tube the client self-inserts in private, after a consultation and instructions from a certified therapist.
Modern colon hydrotherapy uses registered equipment operated by certified personnel. The procedure is private, safe and effective when standard operating procedures and guidelines are followed, and it is becoming increasingly popular with health professionals, including integrative doctors.
Why it matters
Colon hydrotherapy is not a cure-all, but as a practitioner you will learn how it may help the body restore balance and support a wide range of wellbeing concerns, including:
Colon hydrotherapy is a complementary wellness therapy and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Your instructors
Bringing over 30 years of combined professional experience in holistic health care, Michelle and Andrew will share and inspire you with the powerful effects of internal and external cleansing.
They are the Australasia educators for the LIBBE device (FDA-registered) and certified instructors for the Angel of Water device (TGA and FDA-registered), and both are National Board Certified Colon Hydrotherapists (NBCHT) in the USA. They also bring years of experience in massage, reflexology and aromatherapy.
As managers of the colon hydrotherapy department at Tony Robbins' Life & Wealth Mastery programmes in Fiji, the USA and Europe since 2005, they have conducted tens of thousands of treatments, a lifetime of experience they share with you during your training. Michelle was awarded 2012 I-ACT Instructor of the Year, and Andrew is a certified I-ACT Colon Hydrotherapist at Advanced Level.
